"The Prado Day Center gives my dad somewhere to go during the week when me and my brother are at school. You can take showers and they feed you lunch. They got us haircuts and gave us clothing vouchers for school clothes. And kind staff members helped me feel better when I was upset because two girls at school were mean to me because I'm homeless." -Ashley J.
"Prado helps people who are willing to help themselves. Prado keeps it positive and busts through all of the negative barriers. I am so thankful that I have somewhere to go where people care about me." - Jamie S.
"When you are homeless you have nowhere to clean your clothes, make phone calls, or take a shower. When you’re homeless you have no where to leave your things so you can look for a job and you don’t have a phone number to leave on job applications. Prado gives me all of this." - Andrew P.
"Before we knew about the Prado Day Center, my husband and I would sit in the park all day with our kids because we had no where else to go. Finding the Prado Day Center has changes our lives in so many ways. My husband and I were able to get so much information and support that has helped us to go from sleeping in our van to actually getting a job and our own apt. Thank God for the Prado Day Center." - Julie K
